Hoteq delivers with Urban wellness brand “Inhabit”

Updated: Mar 21

Environmental responsibilities and sustainable operations are a high priority for Hoteq, so when awarded the tender to design, integrate and support a state of the art turn-key I.T infrastructure solution for an environmentally-conscious brand such as Inhabit, we relished the circumstance.

Opening April 2022, the sister hotel of Inhabit on Southwick Street will open its doors in Paddington, London. This new addition to the brand boasts 159 bedrooms with interconnecting family rooms and ten additional suites.

Holland Harvey Architects, Caitlin Henderson Design and art curator Culture A have collaborated to turn a series of Georgian townhouses on Queens Gardens into a tranquil space, fulfilling the brand's ethos.

Inhabit will have a wellness area with treatment rooms, a gym offering Peloton bike classes and a yoga studio. Inhabit will also provide morning meditation classes and host workshops, lectures and events around environmental responsibility, physical and emotional wellness and occupational enrichment.

Inhabit is a refreshing take on hospitality; with its focus on community and wellness, we are sure urbanites will relish the chance to immerse themselves in the hotel's stimulating and therapeutic nature. A green-key certified brand means that guests are contributing towards an environmentally ethical business.

Working amidst the chip crisis was always challenging when working on a project as large as this. The entire I.T core network, cabling, wireless networks and CCTV design, implementation and support are critical to the hotel's opening deadline.

A steely determination to meet this deadline was not going to be enough; experience has taught us that preparation and insight prevails. We were spending the time nurturing relationships with our suppliers, selecting only the very best. Forecasting of stocks, management, and strategic procurement processes meant that 100% of hardware arrived on time for our product specialists to install and configure.

Project management ran with precision, and the flexibility required working with multiple contractors on-site to deliver the networks for go-live. A project that Hoteq are duly proud of. We wish the hotel the highest success in the future.
